The Revelation to St. John Chapter 7 of 21 (To update)

THE REVELATION TO  ST. JOHN

CHAPTER

7

¹ After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth so that no wind could blow on earth or sea or against any tree.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 7 verse 1)

Oh God my Father I wholly believe that You have control over nature. I believe that it obeys You like a baby to its mother. I am aware that You are able to hold back the seasons and even reverse the effects of global warming and give the World a new beginning Amen. However, may Your will be done my Father on earth as it is in heaven.

² I  saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to damage earth and sea, ³ "Do not damage the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have marked the servants of our God with a seal on their foreheads."

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 7 verses 2 to 3)

Oh God my Father it is only by Your seal that we can be saved. At the time of our baptism, we are marked with such a seal in order to become a living member of Your body the Church. We are consecrated with blessed oil on our foreheads. By this You claim us to be Your very own Amen.

⁴ And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the people of Israel:

⁵ From the tribe of Judah twelve thousand sealed, from the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, from the tribe of Gad twelve thousand, ⁶ from the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, from the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, from the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand, ⁷ from the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, from the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, from the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand, ⁸ from the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, from the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, from the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand sealed.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 7 verses 4 to 8)

Oh God my Father as much as I believe in You I also believe that Your people Israel still exists and what You ordered to be carried out will still happen according to Your will Amen.

⁹ After this I looked, and there was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, robed in white, with palm branches in their hands.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 7 verse 9)

Oh God my Father these are those people who offered their lives to You whom we define as Martyrs. During our times it is not easy to reach this level of holiness in Malta for there is not a state of spiritual or religious persecution, however, among ourselves, I have met with many of my brothers and sisters, who like my self at times are not genuine to our faith to whom we believe in that is You my God and Father. I feel hurt to the bone when I listen to somebody cursing Your Holy Name and or that of Your Mother Mary. It is as if they are cursing against my biological parents and even more Amen.

¹⁰ They cried out in a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 7 verse 10)

Amen oh God my Father, salvation can only be attributed to You, for it was through Your harsh passion that You paid the price of our salvation and redemption. Moreover, without You we can do nothing, therefore we are to praise and thank You at all times Amen.

¹¹ And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshipped God,

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 7 verse 11)

Oh God my Father I thank You for all Your angels. Like them one day I wish to be present around Your Holy throne to be able to give You praise and worship. As a human I do so in my limited ways, however one day I can do so with full liberty and in Your presence Amen.

The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 of 21

THE REVELATION TO  ST. JOHN

CHAPTER

6

¹ Then I saw the Lamb open one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures call out, as with a voice of thunder, "Come."

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verse 1)

Oh God my Father when You told me to follow You, Your voice was also strong and mighty, so much that I was close to having a heart or panic attack. I pray that I hear Your voice again but not with such force Amen.

² I looked, and there was a white horse! Its rider had a bow; a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering and to conquer.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verse 2)

Oh God, my Father, the world has experienced many kings and world leaders, but You are the one true King and only to You shall be given the glory and not to false kings who appear to be like You but in truth, they are not Amen.

³ When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature call out, "Come!"

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verse 3)

Oh God my Father today in 2020 You are still calling us to come to You Amen. Thank You for giving me my calling Amen.

⁴ And out came another horse bright red; its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people would slaughter one another; and he was given a great sword.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verse 4)

Oh God, my Father I think that this horse is already on loose and is attacking the world by taking its peace away, for distrust, scandal, deception and war can be seen in many areas of the world Amen.

⁵ When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature call out, "Come!" I looked, and there was a black horse! Its rider held a pair of scales in his hand, ⁶ and I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's pay, and three quarts of barley for a day's pay, but do not damage the olive oil and the wine!

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verses 5 to 6)

Oh God, my Father we listen to many voices in our midst, however, not all of them are true and reliable. I pray for the wisdom to discern the good voices from the not so good ones in order to live my life according to Your Holy Will Amen.

⁷ When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature call out, "Come!" ⁸ I looked and there was a pale green horse! Its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed with him; they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, famine and pestilence, and by the wild animals of the earth.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verses 7 to 8)

Oh God, my Father, I believe that this horse is already plaguing the world. This coronavirus may be a product of this horse, which is causing the death of many. I pray for mercy oh God my Father Amen.

⁹ When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slaughtered for the word of God and for the testimony they had given; ¹⁰  they cried out with a loud voice, "Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long will it be before you judge and avenge our blood on the inhabitants of the earth?"

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verses 9 to 10)

Oh God, I feel that this time of vengeance is now. I feel that this virus and the related deaths are a fair warning of the awaiting death if we do not change our sinful ways Amen.

¹¹ They were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number would be complete both of their fellow servants and of their brothers and sisters, who were soon to be killed as they themselves had been killed.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verse 11)

Oh, brothers and sisters, the number of those to be added is still on the increase, for many are still dying because of their faith in You my God and Father Amen.

¹² When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and there came a great earthquake; the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, ¹³ and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree drops its winter fruit when shaken by a gale.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verses 12 to 13)

Oh God, my Father, the third secret of Lucia mentions a big earthquake that lasts for 8 hours where the earth's axes changes. I hope I do not live to experience this terrifying experience or else give me the courage to witness such moments Amen. My wish is Your wish my God and Father Amen.

¹⁴ The sky vanished like a scroll rolling itself up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verse 14)

Oh God my Father for You its that easy to bring an end to all that exists on earth, just like closing a scroll. I pray that as humans we become more aware of who is really in control of our lives Amen.

¹⁵ Then the kings of the earth and the magnates and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, ¹⁶ calling to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one seated on the throne from the wrath of the Lamb; ¹⁷ for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 6 verses 15 to 17)

Oh God my Father who can withstand Your wrath. We are experiencing how weak we are even though we have made great progress in science and technology, however, in our spiritual lives, I fear that we are still lacking. I pray that we give a priority to Your relationship with us Amen.

Oh, brothers and sisters in Jesus I would like to end this meditation on the sixth chapter of the book of Revelations to St. John with the following prayer:-

Oh God my Father during these times death seems to be on the increase, however, this is also a time of repentance, I pray that we stop and reflect on our relationships with each other and with God and forgive those who have wronged us for we have also wronged others Amen.

The Revelation to St. John Chapter 5 of 22

THE REVELATION TO  ST. JOHN

CHAPTER

5

¹ Then I saw in the right hand of the one seated on the throne a scroll written on the inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals; ² and I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?"

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verses 1 to 2)

Oh God my Father, You are the only one who is worthy of breaking the seals, for all is under Your control, and You are the author of my life Amen.

³ And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it.

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verse 3)

Oh God my Father, You are the one and only. Only You are able to fathom the destiny of the World. You have the last say in what is ever to take place both in heaven and on earth Amen.

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verse 3)

Oh God, my Father, there is none like You in the heavens or on earth. You are supreme and nobody can ever match You in love power or majesty Amen.

Let us all give praise and worship to God our Father Amen.

⁴ And I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verse 4)

Oh God, You turn our tears of bitterness into tears of joy and well-being. I thank You for intervening in my life and into that of others and for bringing upon us a positive attitude and change Amen.

⁵ Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. See the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals."

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verse 5)

Oh, brothers and sisters, we have no need to fear, or feel sad and cry, for God is our victor in all our life circumstances and tribulations. In God, we place our trust Amen.

⁶ Then I saw between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders a Lamb standing as if it had been slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verse 6)

Oh God my beloved Father I can rest assured that while I am on earth I am always under Your watchful eye, for You are everywhere and at all times. This makes me feel safe that wherever I go I am always in Your presence Amen.

⁷ He went and took the scroll from the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne.

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verse 7)

Oh Jesus Son of God and also God, You are the only person who can open the scroll. You have full authority over both heaven and earth and even over the state of hell. Blessed be Your name forever and ever Amen.

⁸ When he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the lamb, each holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verse 8)

Oh God, my Father, when the priest who is Your representative takes the book of Scripture to read during Mass, we all fall down in awe at Your name in order to receive from the food of Your Word. Amen. The incense used represents our prayers, that are never lost or considered as being a waste of time since they appear before You Amen.

⁹ They sing a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slaughtered and by your blood you ransomed for God saints from every tribe and language and people and nations; ¹⁰ you have made them to be a kingdom and priests serving our God and they will reign on earth."

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verses 9 to 10)

Oh God my Father what greater achievement can be prayed and praised than Your blessed and mighty passion by which You have saved our souls and that of the world. Even if the angels sing it every day it is still a new song pleasant to Your ears Amen.

¹¹.  Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels surrounding the throne and the living creatures and the elders; they numbered myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, ¹² singing with full voice, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slaughtered to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honour and glory and blessing!"

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verses 11 to 12)

Oh God, brothers and sisters let us also join the angels in their singing of this song that is always new by clicking on the following link credited to us by mikay1231

¹³ Then I heard every creature in heaven and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them singing, "To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honour and glory and might forever and ever!" ¹⁴ And the four living creatures said "Amen!" And the elders fell down and worshipped.

(The Revelations to St. John Chapter 5 verses 13 to 14)

Amen oh God and Father, let us also join creation. We are a living testimony of Your greatness we who believe and trust in You proclaim Your name. The "Great Amen".

Oh God, my Father, I would like to end this meditation on the fifth chapter of the book of Revelations with the following prayer:-

Amen Oh God my Father, praise and worship be given to You alone, for You alone is our faith our hope our Salvation. Blessed be Your mighty name Amen!

The Revelation to St John Chapter 4

THE REVELATION TO  ST. JOHN

CHAPTER

4

¹ After this I looked, and there in heavens a door stood open! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place this."

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 4 verse 1)

Oh God, my beloved Father, even though You did not reveal to me secrets of this world, when You spoke to me I was totally shocked and traumatized because I had never witnessed such power Amen.

² At once I was in the spirit, and there in heaven stood a throne, with one seated on the throne!

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 4 verse 2)

Once we are under the influence of Your Holy Spirit, we are open to all Your revelations, about anything You wish to share with us, about ourselves and about things that are to take place in the present or near future, for You my God and Father there is no present past and future but only now the present and the end of times Amen.

³ And the one seated there looks like Jasper and carnelian, and around the throne is a rainbow that looks like an emerald.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 4 verse 3)

Oh God my Father as humans we can only imagine your beauty and majesty for we have never saw You in a state of beauty and majesty, however with the help of the revelations that You gave to John You can help us to perceive such a magnificent state Amen.

⁴ Around the throne are twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones are twenty-four elders, dressed in white robes, with golden crowns on their heads.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 4 verse 4)

Oh God, my Father, it is great to have such a big and positive support group. They receive energy from You and vice versa, I wish to receive such positive energy from You as well even though I am not a member of the 24. I thank You for giving me the group of 30 + for singles for they are also very supportive to me. Thanks, Jesus Amen.

⁵ Coming from the throne are flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and in front of the throne burn seven flaming torches, which are the seven spirits of God; ⁶ and in front of the throne there is something like a sea of glass, like crystal. Around the throne, and on each side, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 4 verses 5 to 6)

Oh God my Father as humans we can never imagine Your throne and the powerful sounds coming from Your throne, however, when I experienced Your voice it was very powerful. Your kingdom is one that we will experience in the years to come. I pray that I am worthy of living in such an experience. Amen.

⁷ the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with a face like a human face, and the fourth living creature like a flying eagle.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 4 verse 7)

Oh God my Father, many people say that these living creatures are symbolic in nature and the imagery represents the evangelists Matthew Mark Luke and John. However they seem to reflect Your might and divine qualities, Your might and power as in the image of the lion, Your majesty as in the image of the eagle, the ox with all its strength and determination, and last of all Your love and humility as reflected in the image of the human being Amen.

⁸ And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and inside. Day and night without ceasing they sing,

"Holy, holy, holy the Lord God the Almighty who was and is and is to come."

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 4 verse 8)

Oh God my Father You are really and truly the holy God Almighty. You know me inside out like nobody else. You know my strengths and You know my weaknesses. I give You thanks and praise, for You are worthy of both Amen

Let us all join in the following song and prayer credited to HIS CHILD Sajl by clicking on the below image. Amen and give praise and worship to God Almighty.

⁹ And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who is seated on the throne, who lives for ever and ever, ¹⁰ the twenty four elders fall before the one seated on the throne and worship the one who lives forever and ever; they cast their crowns before the throne singing,

¹¹ "You are worthy, our Lord and God;  to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created."

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 4 verses 9 to 11)

Oh glory glory and more glory to You my God and Father, indeed you are more than worthy to be praised. When we pray we are in union with elders and saints in heaven Amen praise be to You my God and Father Amen.

Dear God and Father, I would like to end this reflection on the fourth chapter of the book of Revelations to John with the following prayer:-

In front of the angels I praise You, on earth I crave for You, among my brothers and sisters I meet You, when serving, I serve You, when loving I love You, when caring I care for You, when working I work for and with You, blessed be Your name forever Amen

The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3

THE REVELATION TO  ST. JOHN

CHAPTER

3

¹ "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: " I know your works; you have a name of being alive, but you are dead.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verse 1)

Oh God my Father we can be truly alive physically, however on the other hand we can be living a spiritual death. I pray oh God my Father, that You help me use my physical life as a means of continuing to live and fulfill my spiritual life in You my God and Father and not according to the ways of the world Amen.

² Wake up and strengthen what remains and is on the point of death, for I have not found your works perfect in the sight of my God.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verse 2)

Oh God my beloved Father I thank You for giving me the chance to wake up and start living instead of remaining in a state of spiritual death. I pray that You continue to support me Amen.

³ Remember then what you received and heard; obey it; and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verse 3)

Amen  oh God my Father, I will always remember Your Word and my promise to obey it. I thank You for reminding me my God and Father Amen.

⁴ Yet you have still a few persons in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes; they will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verse 4)

Oh God my beloved Father, it is of a great consolation that there are still people who will walk with You when the time comes, I pray that I am also found worthy of being among that number Amen.

⁵ If you conquer, you will be clothed like them in white robes, and I will not blot your name out of the book of life; I will confess your name before my Father and before his angels. ⁶ Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verses 5 to 6)

Oh God my beloved Father, I pray for the power to conquer for I am still a weak person prone to sin, I pray to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and live accordingly Amen.

⁷ "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of the holy one, the true one,  who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens: ⁸ " I know your works. Look I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verses 7 to 8)

Oh God my beloved Father, You set before me many opportunities to prove or test my faith and love for You. Even though You know my weaknesses and the chances of my either winning or failing the test, You still leave the door open, You still give me the opportunity and for this I greatly thank You my God and Father Amen.

⁹ I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but are lying-I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verse 9)

Oh God my beloved Father, I pray that those who really and truly believe in You come and kneel before You in a spirit of faith and adoration Amen. I also pray that by means of my behaviour people will realize that I believe in You and try to live according to Your ways. Amen.

¹⁰ Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verse 10)

Oh God, my beloved Father I feel that the hour of trial is already on us, for every minute of our lives we are tested for our righteousness. I pray that with Your grace I will pass such tests, for by my own strength as a human I am still weak. Every day I struggle with my self in order to live according to Your ways and not mine Amen.

¹¹ I am coming soon; hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. ¹² If you conquer, I will make you a pillar in the temple of my God; you will never go out of it. I will write on you the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem that comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verses 11 to 12)

Oh God my Father I pray that You keep me whole both in body and in spirit. I pray that You help me overcome my weaknesses so that I can be found strong Amen. I pray that You also write on my soul Your name my God and Father Amen.

¹³ Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verse 13)

Oh God my Father I pray for finer ears and an open heart, along with an intelligent mind and faith of steel, so that I can always discern Your ways and understand what Your Holy Spirit is trying to tell me every day of my life Amen.

¹⁴  "And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the origin of God's creation:

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verse 14)

Oh God my Father, the messages that You passed on in relation to the Church of Laodicea or Asia Minor as know today can also be found valid for our times for You are still our Amen and we are still Your witnesses. Amen.

¹⁵ "I know your works, you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot. ¹⁶ So because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verses 15 to 16)

Oh God my beloved Father how I wish that as humans we would be more decided in our relationship with You.  I pray that I be more secure in my faith and not be lukewarm. I firmly believe in You, however at times I do not experience Your presence. I pray that I experience You everywhere I go and am Amen.

¹⁷For you say, 'I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing." You do not realize that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verse 17)

Oh God my blessed Father, I pray on behalf of those of us, who may be rich according to the standards of the world, but on the other hand are very poor in spirit and are foreign to Your ways. I pray for those who think that the world revolves around them and that they are the God of their own world and that they are so powerful that they can control and manipulate others Amen.

¹⁸ Therefore I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire so that you may be rich; and white robes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nakedness from being seen; and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verse 18)

Oh God my Father, it seems that You are asking us to be baptized again not in water but in the Holy Spirit, during which You anoint our eyes with Your vision so that we can have a new beginning. By means of the white dress that is placed on the child You are asking us to refrain from all that stains our soul, such as sin pornography among other vices.

¹⁹  I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore and repent. ²⁰ Listen I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verses 19 to 20)

Oh God my Father You are the perfect example of a loving Father. A loving Father does not always approve the requests of his children. There are certain situations when Your answer is No. As humans we may consider such moments of chastisement in a negative sense, however You are able to see ahead of time and therefore You are more aware of both the positive and the negative aspects of what we are praying for or about. Amen, I pray that Your will be done in all circumstances of my life, in sickness and in health in good times and even not so good times Amen.

²¹ To the one who conquers I will give a place with me on my throne, just as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. ²² Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 3 verses 21 to 22)

Oh God my Father, I thank You for giving this invitation to all of us especially to those of us who surrender their total will to You. This is my wish my God and Father. Amen.

I would like to end this meditation and prayer on the third chapter of the book of Revelations to St.John with the following prayer:-

I thank You my God and Father for not always saying 'yes' to my prayers because You see the big picture of my life unlike myself. I welcome Your chastisement as being Your will unfolding in the course of my life. I surrender myself to You and Your will Amen

The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2

THE REVELATION TO  ST. JOHN

CHAPTER

2

¹. "To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands: ². "I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance. I know that you cannot tolerate evildoers; you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them to be false.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verses 1 to 2)

Oh God my Father You know me more than I know myself. You know the strengths that You have given me and also my weaknesses. You know how much I can endure and even the situations that make me weak and prone to sin, therefore You love me so much that You do not permit me to endure more than my capacity, however with You by my side I can overcome even the normal threshold of my weaknesses and strengths Amen.

³. I also know that you are enduring patiently and bearing up for the sake of my name, and that you have not grown weary.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 3)

Oh God my Father You know how much I love You and You know how much I would like to help others. Please help me to overcome the barriers of inoculation in relation to my new job, so that I will not be terminated unfairly Amen.

⁴ But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 4)

Oh God my Father this is an experience that we may all experience if we do not sustain on a daily basis a relationship with You. On the other hand You always call me to have fellowship with You, but if I do not make time to be with You, it will all be in vain. In the beginning of our conversion we might feel very eager to pray and confess our sins and also fervently follow Your ways, however in time when You reveal to us our real intentions and aims for following You, that might not always be according to Your will we might start feeling discouraged and become lax, for Your plan of love for our salvation may not match with our agenda. Following You means a commitment, a change of lifestyle from that of our old lifestyle to a new one based on a relationship with You and all that has to do with You. I pray for all so that we may not become lax and discouraged, for the evil one on seeing us in such a state will continue to tempt us in order to make us feel more depressed and discouraged so that we may not continue to place our trust in You Amen.

⁵ Remember then from what you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 5)

Oh God I pray that we do not return back to our old ways, but look forward to the new ways by renouncing that which had enslaved us in the past and live as free people with the dignity of sons and daughters of God Amen.

⁶ Yet this is to your credit: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.  Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To everyone who conquers, I will give permission to eat from the tree of life that is in the paradise of God.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 6 to 7)

Oh God my Father may I like all that You like and dislike and abhor all that is not approved of by You. Above all I pray that I will have a negative attitude to all that is sinful in myself so that I will refrain from committing sinful acts against others and even against You Amen.

⁸ "And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of the first and the last, who was dead and came to life:

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 8)

Oh God my Father You have a message for each and every one of us. Your words are the words of life and not of death. They are like life-giving water that encourages to move on in life, Amen.

⁹ " I know your affliction and your poverty, even though you are rich. I know the slander on the part of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 9)

Oh God my Father You are aware of our reality, both the material and the spiritual. Although we may be materially well we may be spiritually poor. However, even though we are under the poverty line with God He is always ready to help us. From our side, we would need to accept the fact that we are sinners and confess our sins with a strong determination that we want to start fresh with You my, God and Father Amen. You send nobody away but welcomes us with outstretched arms.

¹⁰ Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Beware, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have affliction. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 10)

Oh God my Father I am also foreseeing times of trouble and tribulation. As You are aware the change in leadership has empowered others in my circle and disadvantaged me. Moreover every day I realise that I am despised by some and respected by others. I come to You my beloved God and Father for support love and care. I pray for Your blessing during such times, for You are my protector and avenger and it is only in You that I find refuge Amen.

¹¹ Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Whoever conquers will not be harmed by the second death.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 11)

Oh God my Father, to listen, means to stop and spend time with You, and not to be alienated by our daily routine. To listen, means to be in silence meaning cell phones and internet switched off so that we have no external disturbance. To listen, means to listen to what You say to our minds and hearts and act upon, what You pass on to us. May we all take off our headphones and put on 'God phones' Amen.

¹² "And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write; These are the words of him who has the sharp two-edged sword;  ¹³ " I know where you are living, where Satan's throne is, Yet you are holding fast to my name, and you did not deny your faith in me even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one who was killed among you, where Satan lives.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verses 12 to 13)

Oh God my Father even though I am living in Satan's home, You have given me the strength to endure the many acts of persecution that I am experiencing in my own home, by my own family. I sill believe in You, although it is not fair that I keep on living in such conditions. You did not create me to live such a life of stress and emotional pain. I wish oh God that You personally give me the command to move on as my heart is telling me to do. As You spoke to me before, I am waiting on You today. I beg that You do not remain silent in my situation Amen.

I pray oh God that You deliver me from this situation Amen.

¹⁴ But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the people of Israel, so that they would eat food sacrificed to idols and practice fornication.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 14)

Oh God my Father if You ever had to hold my sins against me, I would never stand a chance, for they are many, even though I confess my sins, I stumble again on the same issue, and this issue as You know has an impact on the whole family especially when I become angry. I pray that I be a ladder from earth to heaven for others by which others seek Your Salvation and not be a stumbling block for them.

¹⁵ So you also have some who hold to the teachings of the Nicolaitans. ¹⁶ Repent then. If not, I will come to you soon and make war against them with the sword of my mouth.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 15 and 16)

Oh God my Father some of us have become atheists or followers of different religions, however it is our duty as believers to try and bring them back, not with force or persuasion, but by living the messages found in the Good News, as in the Bible. I believe oh God my Father, that if You use us to set a good example for others they will turn back and continue to follow You.

¹⁷ Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To everyone who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give a white stone, and on the white stone is written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 17)

Oh God my beloved Father, a new name reflects a new identity, the death of the old self that is the seed of the flesh and the birth of the new person who is born in the Spirit. This is why I would need a new identity because the old one is now no more. You are now my God and Father, You have given me a new name and identity, I pray that we continue to grow in this new Father and son relationship Amen. I thank You my Father for this new identity.

¹⁸ "And to the angel of the church in Thyatra write: These are the words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze: ¹⁹ " I know your works your love, faith, service and patient endurance. I know that your last works are greater than the first.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 18 to 19)

Oh God my beloved Father, many times we underestimate You and Your power. We are always given the impression of a loving and caring God, however there is also the other side of You. The powerful side that is always in combat with the forces of evil that are in constant strife against the forces of goodness that are in Your presence. I thank You for both of Your natures my God and Father Amen.

²⁰ But I have this against you; you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet and is teaching my servants to practice fornication and to eat food sacrificed to idols. ²¹ I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her fornications.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verse 20 to 21)

Oh God my beloved Father, You love us so much that again and again You give us time to repent from our sins and turn back to You. I pray that I be humble enough to accept Your offer from Your hand and never turn back to my old ways Amen.

²² Beware, I am throwing her on a bed, and those who commit adultery with her I am throwing into great distress, unless they repent of her doings; ²³ and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verses 22 to 23)

Oh God my beloved Father You love us so much that You do anything to strengthen our faith, even weaken super powers that have dominated the world. I am convinced of Your love and Your power my God and Father and I will humbly accept correction as happened yesterday to which I admitted my error and took immediate measures to correct it. Amen.

²⁴ But to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not learned what some call 'the deep things of Satan', to you I say, I do not lay on you any other burden; ²⁵ only hold fast to what you have until I come.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verses 24 to 25)

Oh God my Father, I pray that You keep me on stable ground. Even though You gave me the opportunity of taking and eating from the 'Tree of knowledge' as a university student, however this knowledge did not corrupt my heart or my spirit Amen. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

²⁶ To everyone who conquers and continues to do my works to the end, I will give authority over the nations; ²⁷ to rule them with an iron rod, as when clay pots are shattered ²⁸ even as I also received authority from my Father. To the one who conquers I will also give the morning star. ²⁹ Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

(The Revelation to St. John Chapter 2 verses 26 to 28)

Oh God my beloved Father, our greatest war is against our own sinful self, our brain, over which You have given us authority to command and subdue to our control as is subject to the control and authority of You my God and Father, so that You will be forever the God of all and the God in all Amen.

Oh God my Father, I would like to end the second chapter of the book of Revelations given to St John with the following prayer:-

Oh God my beloved Father, You know me much more than I can ever know myself. You know what encourages me and You also know what disappoints me and makes me sad. I pray that You help me in overcoming my self, that all my being will be totally subjected to You and your will Amen

The Revelation to St John Chapter 1

The Revelation

 to St.John

Chapter 1

1. The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants what must soon take place; he made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2. who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. 3. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of the prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and who keep what is written in it: for the time is near.

(The Revelation to John Chapter 1 verses 1 to 3)

Oh God, my Father I greatly thank You for Your blessing, I pray on Your Holy Spirit in order to assist me more than ever in the proclamation of the truths found in this book. Even though these truths are coded in mystery for John could not speak openly while at Patmos I pray that You continue to share with me all that is according to Your will, for all revelations have their origins and end in You, and only You know the time when such events are to take place, my God and Father, . I thank You for listening to my prayer Amen.

4. John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, 5. and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and freed us from our sins by his blood, 6. and made us to be a kingdom, priests serving his God and Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

(The Revelation to John Chapter 1 verses 4 to 6)

Oh God my Father You have a message for all of us, forming different Churches in the world and every day for each of us. By means of Your Bible, and also by means of the nice events and also the tests of life, You are giving us one test after another in order to refine and improve us in order to make us more like You. I pray that our belief in You will always be firm and inscribed in our heart, mind and spirit. I invite you all to join me in the following song and prayer called 'I believe in God the Father by clicking on the following link:-

Song The Apostles Creed I believe in God the Father

7. Look! He is coming with the clouds, every eye will see him, even those who pierced him and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail. So it is to be Amen.

(The Revelation to John Chapter 1 verse 7)

Blessed be that day when You come to judge the earth. For those who do not absolutely believe in You, this will be a great surprise, for sinners such as myself, there would be mixed feelings.

On the one hand my Father has arrived to take me home after such a long period of testing, which at times were fruitful, and during other times I failed to pass the test, however, on the other han, the question will surely come to mind, "Am I really and truly worthy to appear before You my God and Father, for although I really and truly believe in You, my sins and lack of self-control still exist and are on my account!

8. I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

(The Revelation to John Chapter 1 verse 8)

Indeed my God and Father, in You only all creation finds its beginning and in You all is being controlled, were it not for Your command, love and mercy, rain would not fall to water our crops, wombs would not be opened to produce offspring, nothing would be possible because all depends on You for its very existence Amen. Let us all make You the centre of our lives Amen.

9. I John, your brother who share with you in Jesus the persecution and the kingdom and the patient endurance, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

(The Revelation to John Chapter 1 verse 9)

Oh God, my Father it is nice to feel the support of others during the sharing of the Good News online. In spirit, I am united, with you John and you will reveal to me the messages that you would like me to share with my brothers in sisters throughout the world Amen.

10. I was in the spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet 11. saying, "Write in a book what you see and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamum, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia and to Laodicea."

(The Revelation to John Chapter 1 verses 10 to 11)

Oh God my Father this is enough proof that it was according to Your will that the Bible be compiled and written in books so that the written version of our faith could be transmitted in written form throughout all the world Amen.

12. Then I turned to see whose voice it was that spoke to me, and on turning I saw seven goldens lampstands, 13. and in the midst of the lampstands I saw one like the Son of Man clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash across his chest. 14. His head and his hair were white as white wool, white as snow; his eyes were like a flame of fire, 15. his feet were like burnished bronze refined as in a furnace and his voice was like the sound of many waters. 16. In his right hand he held seven stars, and from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining with full force.

(The Revelation to John Chapter 1 verses 12 to 15)

On reflecting on such an awesome and majestic scene I cannot fail to comment a big 'Wow! with an exclamation, that is never ending. Oh God, my Father You appeared to John in all Your glory and might, because for John You were His Lord and powerful God. In our minds, we always refer to You by the term 'baby Jesus' because this term suits us well. Baby Jesus does not provoke us in our faith,or lives because the symbol of the baby is one of fragility, lack of strength and power as compared to adults and can be manipulated and bossed about by us. However, when considering You as our Lord God and Father we become the subjects, with the least power at the mercy of God's will.

16. In his right hand he held seven stars, and from his mouth came a sharp, two edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining with full force. 17. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he placed his right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, 18. and the living one. I was dead, and see, I am alive forever and ever; and I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

(The Revelation to John Chapter 1 verses 16 to 18)

Oh God my Father, blessed be Your Name forever and ever. Anybody who has not made such an experience can never understand such visions. When You spoke to me and told me to let go of my past and follow You, I also was in a state of heartache. I felt it was going to burst in my rib cage because it was beating so fast, however, this was followed by a sweet breeze of tranquillity that brought the vision to its end. I thank You, God, for this experience that left a positive impact on me forever Amen.

19. Now write what you have seen, what is, and what is to take place after this. 20. As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands; the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

(The Revelation to John Chapter 1 verses 19 to 20)

Oh God my Father, I thank You for telling John to write about what is and what is about to  take place. However, I pray that You give me the understanding so that I can also receive the bounty of such a book and be able to share it with others Amen.

As You told John the seven stars in Your right hand are the angels of the Churches while the seven golden lampstands are the seven churches themselves. As much as these stars and lampstands are in Your hands oh God my Father I would also like to place my life and that of the whole world as one star in Your pocket or on Your thumb Amen. I pray that You never stop taking care of us by means of Your Angels Amen.

Oh God my Father I would like to end this first chapter of the book of Revelations with the following prayer.

Oh God my Father in You there is all the wisdom of the world and of the heavens. Only You know what is to happen in time and even beyond or after time. You are in control of all that happens on earth, and nothing can happen or be planned without Your knowledge. You are the 'Master Planner' and therefore I feel at peace regarding both my present and even my future Amen. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen. Thank You Jesus.
